Here's your 'sneek-peek'

Then it'll be full steam to complete the second lot for my niece!
I keep nagging her to get me all of the lists etc but she doesn't seem too concerned - she's either much more laid back than I imagined - or she thinks her Aunty is super-human!!!!!

Hope you are all having a lovely weekend

Not much crafting this weekend.....

...........due to the glorious weather we are having :)

Just thought I'd let you know where I am................

It's hard to believe that between us and that mountain in the background (to the right of the umbrella and which is less that a mile away) is the busy M4!!!

It may not be the largest or lushest of gardens but on a day like today I can sit back close my eyes and  hear the fish splashing around, hear the water running and listen to the birds - OK, most of the birds we get are Seagulls - but you get used to them!

And the thing is I've got it all to myself! Hubby's in work :(  the girls went to London yesterday on a Hen weekend and Ben had a 'stay up till stupid O'clock on X-Box night' round at his mates so I doubt he'll see much day-light today!

Think I'm going to go and get some images and my water colour pencils and do some colouring in the sun :)

I hope you are having a wonderful weekend wherever you may be

Congratulations Easel!

Must add a post tonight before I crawl off to bed! Soooooo tired!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not sure why - although it may have something to do with me feeling rather sorry for myself at the moment!
You see I spent over an hour yesterday in the dentist's chair! And today it feels as if a bus has crashed into my jaw - I'm so glad I was awake having the filling or I'd think someone had used my chin as a punch bag! YES it was ONLY a filling - but a BIG one! and seeing as I hate going to the dentist I feel quite proud of myself, Mr Dentist must really like me - cos he wants me to go see him for another hour in 4 weeks time!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 Anyway, onto today's card.....

I've made another easel card tonight! I've used one of my new arrivals from WOJ - I've been after this stamp of Willow with Baby for ages (although I'm sure I spent longer with a drill in my mouth yesterday!).
I've coloured her with my Water colour pencils (Please don't look too closely as I didn't use the right ink to stamp her so my painting has smudged the ink a little) and then heat embossed the whole piece with Holographic powder.

The Papers are from DCWV Nana's Nursery. The baby details are printed onto the bottom plaque and it's all finished off with some punched flowers, ribbon and a pair of feet charm.

I'd like to enter this into 2 challenges today....

Sketch & Stash - Sketch and NEW stamp

Thanks for popping round and if you're also in the UK have a great 'summer' weekend! I'm going to make sure the BBQ and sun cream is out :)

LOTV Die Cut Topper

A really quick post before I shoot off to work!

Not much blogging done this weekend as still working on the x2Weddings! They take some time to do don't they??? I did manage to get around a few of my bloggy-buds, but if I've not been to see you for a while I am sorry - tell me off in the comments and I'll pop over ;)

This card is made using Lili of the Valley Die Cut Toppers - I bought a handfull of their new stamps last week and also got some toppers to see if I wanted those stamps too - Guess what.....I DO - aren't these two friends just gorgeous, so sweet sitting there having a Tea Party!

Challenges I'd like to enter this card for:

Sophisticat - Blue, Brown & Cream

Sew Many Challenges - Easel Card

ABC Challenge - U for 'Unused Stash' ...my unused stash is the leaves - they come from a cheap & nasty 'plastic' flower sprig! I love to buy them and then pull them apart!!! They are a cream colour with a gold shimmer in real life! (I do hope people didn't see them in my trolley along with the other 12 sprigs of brightly coloured flowers!)

Charisma Cardz - Sweet Treats (food or drink)

Cute Card Thursday - Someone Special (no-one more special than a friend!)

Allsorts - Birthday

Pollycraft - Flowers

What a Cherub.......

At last I've got around to reinstalling my 'usual' graphics programme to my new computer so am much happier cropping etc my pics now :) Good job as I was getting a bit embarrassed about not blogging much!

Thought I'd show you the Arty Farty Cherub Crib I made for a friend in work. She wanted it not too OTT frilly - and believe me I've done them totally OTT before now!!!

I 'cheated' with the carry box too - made this one out of acetate with a card bottom.

The base plate at the foot of the crib is a plaque with the baby's Name, Weight and Date of Birth.

I do love making these cribs - I used to make a fabric quilt too - but gave up on that as it used to take me 1 hour to make the crib and 10 hours to decorate it!

I may actually upload a few versions a little later - will be good to remind myself how else I've decorated them too :)

Challenges I'd like to enter this for.....

Sophisticat - 'Card for a Child'  (I know it's not a card but the challenge does say they accept lots of other crafty creations)

Simon Says Challenge - Birthday/Celebrations

Raise The Bar - 'For Mom'  (Can I get away with the fact that this is a keepsake that Mom will cherish as much as hopefully the baby will in the future???)
