TTT 85 - Recycle It!

Welcome to Top Tip Tuesday Morning!

Our challenge this morning is...

Recycle It!

With the Closing Ceremony on Sunday night the Olympics & Paralympics are truly over. What a fantastic spectacle London 2012 was - awesome, well done to everyone involved.

It's my turn (Carol) to host this Challenge and as I'm sure you're all aware I just love to recycle - so it was a pretty easy choice for the theme this week. I thought I'd tie it in with the Olympics and make my own keepsake of London 2012!

This is what I made it out of....

...a jumper/sweater!

You can make a fab, fun cushion cover out of any old jumper - the principal is the same.

The idea is a very simple one - but one of those 'why didn't I think of doing this earlier' ones! Well it was for me - I have so many ideas I want to do with this - I have everyone looking out for old jumpers!

We have some fantastic sponsors again for this challenge.....

Ooh La La Creations is offering our winner any 1 of their CDs!
We live in France. My daughter and I design the CD's. I started crafting about 20 years ago with glass painting and decorated furniture then started making cards for friends and family. We decided to design our own CD's as there was not much craft materials around when we moved here. We use living Artists for all of our CD's now and have recently shown our CD's on Create and Craft TV

We can't wait to see your recycling :)

Hi All - a really quick post before I hit the sack - which I should've done ages ago!

Isn't she fab??? She's called Ruby Tidbits - Tequila and she's from Bugaboo.
Coloured with Promarkers and a few beads added to a pin.

Please forgive me if I don't pop over to see you soon - I have just started a training course with work and as it's at Degree Level I'm going to need some time to get my head around the assignments - do they not realise I'm too old for this ;)

Have fun, take care xxx

TTT - One for the Men!

Good Top Tip Tuesday Morning to you all.

I'm afraid I start this morning's post with some bad news.....

Hi all – Leanne here, owner of TTT. Sadly the time has come for me to leave TTT – it has been THE most amazing experience setting this challenge blog up and watching it grow week by week. My design team are FABULOUS and so supportive of one another that it is very sad to be leaving. Happily, Carol and Samantha are taking the job over as co-owners between them and I know with YOUR support, this challenge blog can only go bigger and better. So….its over to you girls now xxxxxx

However, fear not - TTT is not going anywhere! Samantha, myself and the TTT Girlies will continue to provide you with as much inspiration and as many Top Tips as we possibly can and I'm sure you'll all join me in wishing Leanne the best in whatever venture she chooses to embark upon next - We all thank you from the bottom of our hearts and will miss you xxx

We don't have a tutorial for you this week but each of the Team have provided you with one of their very own Top Tips.

...and talking of the TTT DT Team...

...with Leanne's departure we went on the scout for some more TTT Talent to delight you with!

Please give a huge TTT welcome to our wonderful

New Teamies...

Lisa S and Jennifer

They are the most amazing girls and are we are so pleased they agreed to join us - please pop over to their blogs and show them how loving the TTT family is :)

This fortnight we are honouring our fellow crafters across the pond, we want to see

Independence Day or Stars & Stripes

on your projects.

If you do celebrate Independence Day we'd also love to hear any traditions you participate in - whether they are little family traditions passed down through the generations or more community wide traditions.
To be honest, not knowing many people who celebrate Independence Day myself, I'm a little bit nosey as to how you spend the day.

Prize offered to 1 lucky winner is 3 packs of die cuts.

&

One lucky Random winner will win 7 Digi images for their choice
